Fake Steve Jobs is Forbes editor

Monday, August 6th, 2007

The New York Times reporter Brad Stone reveals the mystery: The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs is written by Daniel Lyons, a senior editor at Forbes.

The diary, a parody of popular CEO blogs started in August 2006, soon gained huge readership and media attention. Even Bill Gates, and the real Steve Jobs admitted they read the blog.

The big part of the fun though has been the fact that the author remained unknown. Lyons hoped he could keep the secret until October, when his book “Options: The Secret Life of Steve Jobs, a Parody.” will be published.

The blog will now be moved to the Forbes’ website. It’s hard to tell if it will draw the same attention as before. Probably not. The fun has been spoiled.

Steve Jobs: stay hungry, stay foolish

I know this video is from 2005 and many of you have already seen it, but anyway I think it’s worth watching again. The Steve Jobs’ Stanford Commencement Speech has always been a great source of inspiration for me and I like to listen to it whenever I feel less motivated.

And here’s the speech in text.

Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht in line for an iPhone

Friday, June 29th, 2007

This is an interesting thing for all Digg fans: Kevin Rose and his buddy Alex Albrecht were interviewed by CNBC while waiting in a line outside a store in San Francisco to get an iPhone (or two).

It’s pretty funny to see them as regular people waiting in a line and being interviewed by a person who probably doesn’t have a clue who they are, and how important they are on the Web :)

iPhone T-Shirt

Another geeky shirt on my blog. This one, as Fake Steve Jobs reports, may help you, simply, get laid. I imagine it is going to be really easy to get a girl for the iPhone owners this summer. With that shirt, chances are even bigger.
